Removing your program 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Hello, recently my antivirus caught your program as being installed on my PC as a virus. I need to remove it and can't figure out how. I look in add/remove programs and there is nothing there. I did not install this on my PC. I believe someone installed it as a way of stealing info from my PC and would really like to remove it. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Hi Sandra

You can easily remove the software by deleting the directory TRISPEN from the c:\Program Files\ and also removing the subsequent entries from the registry key HKLM/Software/Trispen.

Please indicate which antivirus program detected this as a virus as our software has never been identified as a virus and perhaps any logs that indicate the Alert so that we can take the matter further.

Thanks for the response. I followed the steps you gave me and there are no entries referring to Trispen. I also tried searching my PC for any files with that name. The program that identifies your program as a virus is called Advance System Optimizer. When the scan was over I even captured the screen shots and copy pasted them on to a word document. That's the only way I could think of to save the screenshots. I believe that maybe someone has manipulated your program to act as a virus or a kind of backdoor. I'm so paranoid about this that I can't even go to personal sites that require login @ pswds. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Sandra

Please could you forward us the screenshots to support@trispen.com so that we can investigate which file is shown as infected.

Regards
Tony
