Hi all
I am trying to set up Office Wherever for the first time on a a windows XP pro laptop Client and a Windows XP Pro Desktop Server OfficeWherever version 3.31.5175

After setting up the server Ip stuff I get the message taht the Gateway logged on the look up server, clients can now connect. but When trying to connect with the laptop (Client) I get the message that the Gateway has not registered the name yet. What have I missed, What do I still need to configure. By the way I am setting this up to test the service, so the gateway server is a unused system in the office, and it has access to the internet, as I conected to the internet with it and downloaded the OfficeWherever software

Hi Roy

Please could you check if the gateway name used during client enrollment is the same as specified on the gateway. Also check if you have perhaps used nonstandard characters in the gateway name in which case you will need to re-register the gateway.

Please send us a mail to support@trispen.com with both support diagnostic files (Server Side and Client) that is generated through the Diagnostic Tools utility and we can then we can verify if the gateway name is registered correctly.
